- Recipients of some of the highest honors available to North Carolina 4-H Club members were selected Thursday at North Carolina State University. In a day-long series of interviews with a panel of six judges, the state's four delegates to the annual National 4-H Club Conference and two scholarship winners to the Danforth Leadership Camp were chosen. Conference delegates are Carroll Mode, Franklinton; Mary Helen Williams, New Bern, Rt. 3; Donald White, Siler City, Rt. 1; and Bob McLean, Horse Shoe, Rt. 2. Danforth scholarship winners are Anna Lee Hawes, Rose Hill, Rt. 2, and Wells Hall, Mt. Ulla, Rt. 2. [Additional information enclosed]
