- Chicago--Two North Carolina 4-H Club members, winners of a 4-H award based on their grain crops projects, participated in a three-day grain marketing clinic and tour sponsored for the 12th year by the Chicago Board of Trade. Shown here at one of the sessions are (from left) Bernard P. Carey, chairman of the Board of Trade; Bill Patrick, 17, Shawboro; George Scott Jr., 19, Jacksonville, and Jerry Hardesty, assistant agricultural agent in Currituck county, who accompanied the boys to Chicago.
