Awards for Laseter, Taylor, Hawks, Mickelson, Gallimore, Marritt and Swisher were given by American Oil Foundation. Those for Johnson and Robinette were provided by Humble Oil & Refining Company. The national 4-H tractor program is conducted by the Cooperative Extension Service and is arranged by the National 4-H Service Committee.
