Transcribed from accompanying letter: Mr. Lawton McClintock, Supervisor, Livestock and Agriculture, Ohio State Fair, Ohio Expositions Center, Columbus, Ohio; Dear Lawton: Enclosed with this letter you will find a cut for your 1968 Ohio State Fair premium list of the Champion Polled Dorset ram at the 1967 Ohio State Fair. This ram was exhibited by North Carolina State University at Raleigh, North Carolina. I received a letter yesterday from Mr. A. T. Newberry, Jr. of Bland, Virginia, who exhibits the North Carolina State flock, requesting that I have this cut prepared and mailed to you. As this is the first of February there is no way that I can get this cut to you by your regular deadline date of February 1. However, I trust that it will arrive in time to be included in your State Fair premium catalog. Again, if there are any other Champions within the sheep division which you have not been able to obtain from the respective breeders, and we do have those picture on file as I indicated in my earlier letter, know that I would be happy to supply you with those pictures. With my very best regards, I am Cordially yours, Larry E. Mead; Dear [Lemuel Goode] and [A. T. Newberry, Jr.]: Enclosed are prints of your Dorset ram. I believe that I failed to mail these to you. I am sending them to you with my compliments and there will be no charge for them. Regarding the cost of the cut mailed to the Ohio State Fair, I will simply hold that charge and add it to the bill for the ad that North Carolina State University plans to insert in our March issue. Lem, I will be sending you a layout suggestion for that as in about another week.
