- Transcribed from back: Pure bred brood is lost the second year. Leghorn male crossed on Light Brahma hens made apparently uniform pullets with white dominant over black. But the second year's breeding we had nothing but scrubs - all sizes and colors - nothing uniform. So it could be graded for market and sold on a quality basis (Fig. 2) Return to DBF Kauff - Raleigh.
