- Transcribed from front: Plant Details; HHB-1082; Two species of bluestem (or broomsedge) commonly found in the reed forage type are (left) bushy bluestem (Andropogon glomeratus) and (right) yellowsedge bluestem, or common broomsedge, (Andropogon virginiscus). Together the burnish a small quantity of forage practically yearlong. Taken in North Carolina. 9-4-44.
