- Transcribed from front: Accidental Fires; HHB-678; Fence line between two of the pastures used in the creep feeding experiment. From 20 to 25 percent of the soil surface in these pastures burned down about 18", completely destroying the reeds. Here the fence has fallen over as a result of the soil burning around the post for a considerable distance. Taken at Wenona, North Carolina; 1/30/42
