- Transcribed from front: Accidental Fires; HHB-672; Taken in one of the one-acre paddocks used in intensity of grazing experiment. This shows the results of the fire that burned so much of the peat soil. The stakes used to [make] one of the permanent study plots are showing. This study will have to be discontinued on account of the fire damage. Nearly 85 per cent of some of the one-acre paddocks burned to about an 18 inch depth. Taken at Wenona, North Carolina; 1/30/42.
