- Transcribed from back: New Scholarship--Hubbard Poultry Farms, Inc., Walpole, N. H., has established a $600 annual scholarship at N. C. State University at Raleigh for students studying poultry science. On hand for the scholarship presentation were (left to right) L. S. Hubbard, president of the company, Dr. H. Brooks James, dean of the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences; and Dr. Henry Garren, head of the Department of Poultry. Hubbard Farms, which serves the South and a number of overseas markets through a large plant at Statesville, is a major poultry breeder and supplier of baby chicks. [October] 1965
