This is a photograph of two unidentified men standing next to a red birch tree. The tree is in the process of being cut down. [This image, and the next eleven images, are a series of postcards. The backs of the postcards contain continuous sections of a letter to Dr. Carl Schenck from Paul V. Rowlands. The letter is dated April 13, 1915.
