A photograph of Elbert Hubbard, Harry White, and Dr. Schenck. Hubbard (1856 - 1915) was a writer and founder of the Roycroft Press, a communal publishing concern. Schenck met Hubbard on a trip to a Chippewa Indian reservation in northern Minnesota in 1899. Schenck maintained a correspondence with Hubbard and admired him for his wit and intelligence.
