- Special broadcast made from the Richard B. Harrison Auditorium on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University by the North Carolina Association of New Farmers of America. The programs commemorates the birthday of Booker T. Washington and the 15th annual NC NFA state convention. Program begins with the opening ceremony of meetings for the NFA. The Dudley High School Quartet is heard singing "Down By The Riverside". J. Melville Broughton, governor of North Carolina delivers a speech on the legacy of Booker T. Washington. He is introduced by T. E. Browne, state director of vocational education. S. B. Simmons is heard as the advisor.
