Title:
Wolf Tales Recording with Yifan Xu: FLE400, 23 October 2018
Description:
This recording was conducted as part of FLE 400: American English pronunciation for International Students with Professor Mary Michaels Estrada in October 2018, in the D.H. Hill Jr. Library. A first year international student, Xifan Xu came to N.C. State from China and is studying for a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Xifan says that he has had the most trouble communicating in English, though he knows what it is he wants to say, and wishes that more native speakers understood this about international students and would be more patient with them. He spends most of his time studying in D. H. Hill Jr. Library, and finds most of his colleagues here very studious. When he does have free time, he spends it playing video games.
