This recording was conducted as part of a Wolf Tales Open Recording Day in September 2018, in the Talley Student Union. Abigale Verchick discusses her experience as a student at NC State, noting that both her parents are alumni, and that she attended NC State football games from a young age. Verchick recalls being accepted into the Honors Program at NC State, and the draw of the program in deciding which university to attend. Verchick mentions meeting people through playing club soccer, and continuing campus traditions through Student Government. Other memories include being inside the Belltower unchaperoned, a strong history of participating in Belltower events and traditions, and aspirations of having the Belltower lit red in her honor. Verchick ends with reflecting on the importance of NC State to her family, and her pride in being part of the campus community.
