This recording was conducted in the D. H. Hill Jr. Library on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the Alumni Association’s Class of 1968 "Forever Club" Reunion. Joyce Smith (Class of 1968) discusses her experience as one of few women on campus; including being the only woman in the majority of her classes. Smith recounts the expectations around standards of dress for women at the time; as well as a time where she and her brother earned identical grades in a class they attended together.
