This recording was conducted in the Talley Student Union on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the NCSU GLBT Center’s 2017 Lavender Graduation. In the recording, Jacob Shoemaker (‘19) discusses: attending the GLBT Symposium as a freshman; the impact of the GLBT Center on his time as a student; coming from a small town; and finding support in the GLBT community at NC State. This recording was created with the support of funds made possible through a 2016-2017 Diversity Mini-Grant from the NCSU Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity (OIED).
