This recording was conducted in the Talley Student Union on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the 2018 Sisterhood Day program. Shevaun Neupert discusses her experience as an Associate Professor of Psychology, and her research studying stressors across the lifespan. Neupert recalls her experience joining NC State in 2005, benefiting from both informal and formal mentoring within her department. Neupert then reflects on the successes of her department, particularly in 2016. Neupert speaks about her experience with the Association of Women Faculty, and the value of her connections with women throughout campus. Lastly, Neupert reflects on the support and flexibility of her career, and her experience in raising children and achieving tenure.
