Title:
Wolf Tales Recording with Yi Liu and Xintong Ye: FLE400, 23 October 2018
Description:
This recording was conducted as part of FLE 400: American English pronunciation for International Students with Professor Mary Michaels Estrada in October 2018, in the D.H. Hill Jr. Library. Yi Liu and Xintong Ye, from Shenzhen and Jiansu, China, respectively, are both pursuing master’s degrees in Economics from N.C. State. Liu shares a story about the help she received her first time arriving on campus, and speaks to the impact one can have on others through a single act of kindness. Ye discusses the shift from undergraduate to graduate studies, her experiences in philanthropic work, and advice that she wish she’d known as a new international student.
