This recording was conducted in the StateView Hotel on Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the Caldwell Fellows 50th Anniversary Gala. Courtney Horton (Class of 2005), Allison Anderson (Class of 2005), and Brian Onorio discuss their experiences as students of biomedical engineering; and reflect on the impact of the Caldwell Fellows program on their lives. Anderson and Horton reflect on the continued benefits of the program, including the network of accountability and support they have encountered. Horton and Anderson emphasize the depth of the relationships they have formed; and are joined mid-recording by their friend Brian Onorio (Class of 2005). Onorio reflects on his time as a writer for The Technician, and on the continued contact he has with his Caldwell Fellow colleagues. The trio then reflect on difference, and the importance of continued exposure to different perspectives - an ethic they meaningfully encountered with the Caldwell Fellows program.
