This recording was conducted as part of Wolf Tales Open Recording Day in September 2018, in the Talley Student Union. Jennifer Gilmore discusses her experience as the Director of Marketing and Communication for NC State Campus Enterprises, and as a member of the graduating Class of 1989 at NC State. Gilmore recalls early ties to NC State, including that her father graduated from NC State as third in his class, as a mature student in engineering; and that her mother worked in Holladay Hall while pregnant with her. Gilmore recalls vivid memories of visiting the campus as a child; her happiness at coming to study at NC State; her involvement in the renovation of Talley Student Union; and how her experience as a student helped her to connect with current students. Further memories include seeing Ronald Reagan speak at Reynolds Coliseum; and the advancements that the campus has made since the 1970s, both in terms of leadership and campus facilities. Lastly, Gilmore reflects on her time working for The Technician and in Hospitality Services, and gives her thanks to those who have given her opportunities.
