Wolf Tales Recording with Michael R. Ferguson: Wilson College of Textiles Young Alumni Council, 9 November 2018
Description:
This recording was conducted for the Young Alumni Leadership Council, a group within the Wilson College of Textiles, in November 2018. Mike Ferguson (class of 2004) entered the College of Textiles as one of the first Centennial Scholars, following his sister who was a student in the College, and followed by his younger brother. He would later meet his wife in the College as well. Majoring in Textile Chemistry, Ferguson describes the camaraderie that the College allowed and the one-on-one attention he received there, while still having the broader resources of the greater university. He describes the family-oriented attitude of the College, and what it did to support him and prepare him for professional practice. Ferguson says that he hopes this mentality continues on into the future, as it fosters deep connections with the school, empowers students, and sets them up for success.
