This recording was conducted in the Talley Student Union on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the NCSU African American Cultural Center’s 2016 Harambee event. In the recording, Achaia Dent ('19) discusses: the weekly "What’s on the Table" open forum hosted by the African American Cultural Center (AACC); the Maya Angelou quote, "If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude;" and AACC Program Coordinator Toni Harris Thorpe (known as "Mama Thorpe.")
