This recording was conducted in the StateView Hotel on Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the Caldwell Fellows 50th Anniversary Gala. Ted F. Cash, Jack Cozort, and Charles W. Johnson discuss their experiences in the first class of Caldwell Fellows (all the Class of 1972). Cozort shares his recollections on the improved focus and community that the Caldwell Fellows program gave him as a student; and the inspiration he received from Dr. Caldwell. Cash reveals how the contributions and convictions of Dr. Banks C. Talley Jr. were a motivating force for all students. All three discuss how the formative friendships they made as Caldwell Fellows have been lasting; and the trio recount fond memories of a trip to New York. Cash also recounts participating in the Student Senate, and Cozort speaks about his role as Editor-in-Chief of The Technician.
