Title:
Response of a Ten-Year-Old, Plantation-Grown Loblolly Pine Subjected to Ice Damage, 1987 (Forest Science Laboratory Biometrics Group, Research Report No. 65)
Description:
A fertilizer study testing five levels of nitrogen was established in a six-yearold loblolly pine plantation on the Bray Tract, Buckingham County, Virginia in 1975. At age ten, the study was measured just prior to and immediately following a large ice storm in 1979. No significant differences between treatments were detected for average dbh, total height, and cubic foot volumes/acre prior to the storm.
