At the end of three growing seasons following fertilization there was no significant difference between growth produced by 4 phosphate fertilizers or the elemental P rates of 25 and 50 pounds per acre (lbs./A) (28 and 56 kilograms per hectare (kg/ha)). Similar results were recorded on the same study established in the South Carolina Coastal Plain.
