Description:
Helicopter applied solutions of 2,4,5-T (at the rate of 2 pounds acid of 2,4,5-T in an emulsifiable solution of 1/2-gallon fuel oil and 4 gallons of water per acre) have been used by Virginia Woodlands since 1961 to aid in conversion of cutover hardwood land to pine. A request by Virginia Woodlands for an evaluation of their spray work resulted in this report.
