- Progeny from four cross-pollinated loblolly pine clones were tested for differential growth and differential fertilizer response in the greenhouse in three major company soils. The clones were tested against each other, and against an open-pollinated clone. A single dosage of a complete fertilizer was used to determine seedling response.
