Description:
Work for the study was carried out at the Summerville greenhouse in accordance with the study plan written by Dr. N. M. Berenyi of the Laurel Research Laboratory. Loblolly pine seedlings were grown for 30 weeks in the greenhouse under controlled conditions in three typical South Carolina Coastal Plain soils with 17 different fertilizer treatments. The study was lifted and shipped to Laurel Research Laboratory for analysis.
