Description:
The results after two years showed that the application of 150 lbs. per acre (168 kg/ha) N significantly increased the growth of a 7-year-old loblolly pine plantation. There were no real differences between the ammonium nitrate and urea fertilizers, and both performed best when applied in the Spring.
