Field Tests of the Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) (Forest Science Laboratory Productivity Group, Research Report No. 178)
Description:
The Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) was used to characterize loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) response to N and/or P fertilization. Foliar nutrient data from three field studies located on the Virginia Piedmont were used to describe a high-yield group and a low-yield group. The best DRIS norm set was found to have N, P, Ca and dry matter norms, with an average variance ratio of2.48.
