- This interview for the Student Leadership Initiative was conducted at the D. H. Hill Library on the NC State campus in Raleigh. Fayetteville native Jay Dawkins was Student Body President and served on the NCSU Board of Trustees (2008-2009). He received the Mathews Medal, the Order of Walter Hines Page and the NC State Diversity Award. He currently works as a civil engineer, planner and entrepreneur in Raleigh.
