- This interview for the Student Leadership Initiative was conducted in Norris Tolson’s office in Research Triangle Park, NC. E. Norris Tolson, a Tarboro, NC native, graduated from North Carolina State University, where he served as Student Body President (1961-1962). Tolson is currently the president and CEO of the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, a position he has held since 2007. Tolson is also a member of the NCSU Board of Trustees.
