- This resource includes papers from Charles Pusey, founder of the Humane Society of Greater Miami. There are a number of pamphlets and publications from the Humane Society of Greater Miami as well as some letters written by and to Charles and his wife Margaret. Many of the letters are correspondence with Christine Stevens and Estella Draper, President and Executive Secretary of the Animal Welfare Institute, respectively. There is also material related to animal welfare laws and regulations in Florida.
