Topics include animals in performing arts, pets, animal experimentation, and wildlife conservation. There are letters both to and from Christine Stevens of the Animal Welfare Institute and Madeleine Bemelmans of the Society for Animal Protective Legislation. Many of these letters contain permissions for reprinting copyrighted material.
