Summer 2025 closure

The D. H. Hill Jr. Library will be closed beginning on Monday, May 5, 2025, for planned electrical work. The Special Collections Research Center is located in Hill Library, and will be closed for all appointments during this period. Special Collections can only make appointment requests until April 25th and after August 3, 2025. During the closure, Special Collections staff will be available to answer questions about our collections, if they are accessible, and to support researchers using digital materials for their research. Lewis Clarke Oral Histories: These oral histories represent a cross section of students who attended the North Carolina State University School (now College) of Design between 1950 and 1980 in architecture and landscape architecture. Also included are interviews with Clarke family members, NCSU professors who taught landscape architecture students, and clients and professionals who worked with or for Lewis Clarke Associates. Users are invited to listen to the oral histories as well as read the transcripts.
