- Robert A. Barnhardt was Dean of NC State's College of Textiles (1987-1999), and served as both the Interim Provost (2003) and the Interim Chancellor (2004). In the interview, he discusses the move of the College of Textiles to Centennial Campus while he was Dean, as well as the transition to the new space, and faculty's reluctance before the move. Also discussed is Barnhardt's role in establishing the National Textiles Center in North Carolina
