This folder contains drafts and editorial reviews of a report by Professors W. E. Splinter and C. W. Suggs titled “Physical Properties of Green Virginia-Type Tobacco Leaves Part IV: Kinetic Energy Absorption and Force Relationships During Separation from the Stalk.” This article examines the relationship between the size of a tobacco leaf and the energy necessary to remove it from the stalk. Also included in the record are charts with data from this project and memoranda regarding the peer reviewing of this article prior to its publication in Tobacco Science.
