The Mary Anne Fox Teaching Laboratory was built in 2004. It is named after NC State Chancellor Mary Anne Fox, who served from 1998 to 2004 as the University's first woman Chancellor. The greenhouse is maintained by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
