Provenance note:
Andrew and Annie Heavner Seagle (yeoman farmers), first owner.
Architectural note:
The farm dates to the early nineteenth century. In 1860, the old log house was moved to be used as farm building when the new farmhouse was erected. The farm includes a rare specialized structure, the freestanding "beehive" domed oven.
Historical note:
The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
