The McClelland-Davis House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Provenance note:
The structure was built for the McClelland family.
Architectural note:
The house is one of only five in the county reflecting the designs of Boston architect and builder Asher Benjamin. These designs blend Federal architecture styles with Greek Revival styles. Benjamin is suggested as a possible builder.
