- This two-story house is done in Flemish-bond brickwork, complete with lozenge patterns on its double-shouldered chimney.
- Historical note:
- The interior was finished with Adamesque woodwork, and these elements are now in the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in Winston-Salem. Perkins House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
