- Architectural note:
- The house and barn were moved in 2004 to avoid demolition, and the home was reconstructed at this time.
- Historical note:
- The home is considered one of the most intact examples of this style in Wake County. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and as a Wake County landmark.
