- John Haley (Quaker blacksmith, farmer, and community leader) and Phoebe Haley, first owner
- Architectural note:
- The home features brickwork of glazed headers, and a gable plaque with the year of construction and the Haleys's initials. The building was restored around 1970.
- Historical note:
- The home is the oldest brick house built for local Quakers, as well as one of the oldest brick houses in the Piedmont. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
