Alfred Moore (planter, Revolutionary War officer, state attorney general, justice of U.S. supreme court), first owner; Alfred Moore, Jr., second owner
Architectural note:
The home was possibly updated upon Moore, Jr.'s inheritance in 1818. Notable interior features include a Chinese lattice stair railing and a reeded mantel with an overmantel.
Historical note:
The home was constructed in the late eighteenth century, and is said to have functioned as the Moores' summer house. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
