Provenance note:
Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, first owner; Davis family, second owner.
Architectural note:
The building was stripped of its windows and doors in 1918.
Historical note:
The land for the church was given by William H. Davis of Westmoreland Plantation. The congregation began to decline around the turn of the century as families moved from the area, and by 1918 the church was deconsecrated and returned to the Davis family, who began using the building as a barn.
