- Thomas Person Little (planter and Anti-Federalist politician), first owner; William Person Little (planter) and Ann Hawkins Little, second owner.
- Architectural note:
- William Person Little added his Federal style home to Thomas Person Little's older eighteenth century structure.
- Historical note:
- The interior decorative treatment was considered the most elaborate in North Carolina. The house is now a ruin. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under Warren County. Alternatively named Mosby Hall.
