William McGregor, first owner; Dr. Francis J. Kron (Prussian born physician, horticulturist, and civic leader) and Catherine Kron, second owner
Historical note:
Due to its ruinous state, the house was rebuilt along with its outbuildings from physical evidence in 1961. The building is currently housed within Morrow Mountain State Park.
