Built Heritage: A partnership of the North Carolina State University Libraries and Preservation North Carolina to create an online resource for the study of the state’s architectural history. Included are 8,100 measured drawings, photographic prints, and slides, which provide access to documentation on hundreds of buildings and structures in North Carolina dating from the 1700s to the early 1900s.

- The home was constructed in the early to mid-nineteenth century. The roof was damaged in a 2003 hurricane.
- Historical note:
- The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was moved to Spotsylvania County, Virginia, and restored in 2004.
