- Duncan Cameron (attorney), first owner; Frederick Nash (North Carolina Supreme Court justice), second owner; Sally Nash, Maria Nash, and Sarah Kollock (headmistresses of Nash and Kollock School for Young Ladies), third owner
- Architectural note:
- The interior features Federal style finish. The west wing was added by the Nash-Kollock School for use as a music studio.
- Historical note:
- The building was constructed in the early nineteenth century, either for Cameron or Nash. The office is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
