Beaux Arts to Modernism: “Beaux Arts to Modernism: Early Twentieth Century Architecture in North Carolina” was an LSTA-grant funded project to digitize architectural drawings and photographs documenting historic buildings in North Carolina. Architects represented in the project include Brown and Alexander Architect Engineering (née Biberstein, Bowles, Meacham & Reed); Martin E. Boyer; Eric G. Flannagan; Northup & O'Brien; Herbert Woodley Simpson, Louis Asbury; Leslie Boney; Charles Parker; Richard Sharp Smith; Douglas Ellington, and William H. Deitrick. The project was a partnership of the NC State University Libraries, the State Archives of North Carolina, the UNC Charlotte J. Murrey Atkins Library, and the Asheville Art Museum.
